The Anchorage Moravian Church Held A Special Rewarding Service.
The bethel moravian church held their annual yup’ik candlight service on christmas eve in bethel. We will be holding two in. Christmas eve candle light service will be held on december 24th at 7:30pm in the upstairs sanctuary.
The Moravian Church’s “Christmas Eve Candlelight Service,” Originated In Marienborn, Germany In 1747 And Was Shortly Thereafter Adopted By Moravians In Bethlehem In 1756.
We will serve what is known as a love feast (coffee and sweet rolls). Christmas treats will be given out to children first, then family. Christmas eve candlelight services 4pm and 6pm.

At this moravian service we will raises the candles, together, as we sing “the light of the world is jesus. At 4 and 6:30 we will celebrate christmas with a traditional candlelight service and moravian lovefeast. Come join us at 4pm or 6:30pm for our traditional moravian christmas eve service.
